Our Physicians

The physicians in our clinic provide a unique setting with expertise in both the fields of gynecology and urology. We are the only multi-specialty clinic in Western New York providing urologic and gynecologic care in the same place. We are also part of UBMD, a multidisciplinary organization, which allows integration of multiple other surgical and medical services.

Dr. Teresa Danforth is a member of UBMD Urology. Dr. Tova Ablove is a member of UBMD Gynecology-Obstetrics. Both UBMD medical practices are part of the UBMD Physicians' Group, affiliated with the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

Dr. Teresa Danforth Urologist Buffalo, NY

Dr. Teresa Danforth is a fellowship-trained urologist and surgeon who specializes in female urology, neurogenic bladder and male voiding dysfunction. Her clinical practice focuses on the treatment of female and male incontinence and voiding dysfunction as well as female pelvic organ prolapse. Dr. Danforth also provides specialty care to patients with neurologic disorders including spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, diabetes and spina bifida, among others.

Dr. Danforth has published work in multiple areas of urology, with focus on neurogenic bladder research, and has made presentations all over the world. As a recognized expert in urological diagnosis and treatment, Dr. Danforth is also a submission reviewer for a number of urology publications and programs.

Dr. Ablove is a fellowship-trained physician who utilizes the most advanced state-of-the-art diagnostics and treatments to provide relief for women with incontinence, prolapse, lower urinary tract disease and conditions related to aging of the pelvic floor.

As a specialist in the area of female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Ablove focuses her clinical practice on comprehensive care of women with pelvic floor disorders. This includes urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, including cystoceles and rectoceles, some types of fecal incontinence and painful bladder syndrome. She is also experienced in treating conditions associated with geriatric gynecology and menopause, with a special focus on incontinence, aging of the pelvic floor and associated diseases. These patients are typically beyond child-bearing age and often have one or more disorders associated with the primary condition.
